Media Imaging
Our technicians will copy and image the hard drives and electronic storage media in question at least twice: one copy is securely stored untouched as evidence, and another is used in the discovery and analysis for the determinant data believed to be in the device. We store all of the untouched evidence copies in a secure location and will hold the imaged files until the end of litigation, to ensure the protection and security of the images of the hard drives for future litigation.
We use industry standard practices and software to make forensically sound images of all media involved in any project. A copy of the image is alwaya available for client access, and is viewable with any number of programs that can handle DD RAW images.
